SESAME STREET: OLD SCHOOL VOLUME TWO debuts as a three-DVD set on November 6 from Genius Products and Sesame Workshop, the non-profit organization behind Sesame Street. Featuring episodes and bonus bits from 1974-1979, SESAME STREET: OLD SCHOOL VOLUME TWO offers over eight hours of classic vignettes, introduces Roscoe Orman in the role of Gordon, includes celebrity appearances from singer-songwriter Paul Simon, folk artist Judy Collins and comedian and actress Lily Tomlin. In addition, “Happy Days’” Henry Winkler and Ron Howard guest starred in their signature roles as ‘Fonzie’ and ‘Richie’ in a skit about oral hygiene. The set features 57 bonus segments, plus the premiere episodes from each of the five seasons, which have been completely restored. SESAME STREET: OLD SCHOOL VOLUME TWO features the first pilot Sesame Street episode, which has never been broadcasted. The set comes packaged with a 12-page booklet with behind-the scenes information and photos, and a special collectible reproduction cel from the popular Sesame Street animated film “Pinball Number Count.” The DVD set will be available for the suggested retail price of $39.93. As a nonprofit, product proceeds and philanthropic support endow Sesame Workshop’s educational research and creative content for children around the world.
