Providing the perfect back-to-school treat for the whole family, The Reef swims onto DVD October 9, 2007 from Genius Products LLC. and The Weinstein Company. The Reef stars Freddie Prinze Jr. (Scooby Doo films) as the voice of the bold and adventurous Pi, a young guppy fish who is forced to move to the glossy Reef under the sea after his family is netted by a trawler in the Boston harbor. Upon his arrival, he falls for a pouting pink fish named Cordelia who has also been receiving unwanted affections from a bullying shark. Pi is charged with the task of winning over Cordelia’s affections and ridding the Reef of the tormenting shark.

The all-star ensemble cast also includes the vocal talents of Rob Schneider (The Benchwarmers), Andy Dick (Happily N’Ever After), Evan Rachel Wood (Running With Scissors), Fran Drescher (“The Nanny”) and Donal Logue (“Knights of Prosperity”). A great family film in the spirit of Finding Nemo, Shark Tale and Happy Feet, The Reef DVD includes an audio commentary with director Howard E. Baker and producer Mark A. Z. Dippe, a storyboard gallery.
