SYNOPSIS
So much fun it’s frightening - Discovery Kids’ fan-favorites Growing Up Creepie and Tutenstein arrive on DVD just in time for Halloween on August 28th from Genius Products LLC and Discovery Kids. The release will include the first volume of the Emmy® nominated show Growing Up Creepie (Special Class Animated Series, 2007) and the third volume of Emmy® Award winner Tutenstein (Special Class Animated Series, 2007). Debuting on the Discovery Kids Channel in September 2006, Growing Up Creepie has become one of the channel’s most popular animated shows. The show follows Creepie, a young girl who was left on the doorstep of an abandoned mansion as a baby. Having been raised by a loving family of bugs, which include a praying mantis as a mother, a mosquito as a father and a wolf bug and pill bug for brothers, Creepie has to find a way to fit into a new school with none other than… humans!

In Tutenstein, a ten-year-old boy king was mummified three thousand years ago. But when a lightning bolt hits his sarcophagus in a museum, Tutenstein is brought back to life for some royally wild times in the 21st century with his new best friend, Cleo!Filled with humor and dry wit, the Growing Up Creepie DVD features six 11-minute episodes along with a bonus episode, “Creepie’s Buggin’ Trivia” game, a Discovery Kids Corwin Unleashed: Creepy Creatures show and more. There is nothing ancient about the Tutenstein DVD, which includes four 22-minute episodes and bonus features including a “Levels of the Underworld” game, Tut Trading Cards, Real-World Mummy Footage, sneak peeks and more. Both Growing Up Creepie and Tutenstein will be available for the suggested retail price of $14.95.
