"Why be an Angel, when I can play God?" - Madison Lee

CASS' CLIP (WARNING: **spoilers below**)
Let's assume for a second, I'm a witness in the Federal Witness Protection Program. The only agency that knows my true identity and my whereabouts is the federal government. The database containing all my confidential information, and that of thousands of other "protected" witnesses, is encrypted on two titanium rings. So...I wake up one morning, and I'm dead. Of course, I'm not too happy about this turn of events because I had big plans to go shopping that day. It turns out that I'm not alone because several other witnesses are dead too. Rumor has it, that someone has stolen these two titanium rings, jeopardizing the future of the Federal Witness Protection Program.

The man responsible for finding out why I'm buried six feet under is Charlie Townsend (the voice of John Forsythe). Charlie calls the Angels - Dylan Sanders (Drew Barrymore), Natalie Cook (Cameron Diaz) and Alex Munday (Lucy Liu) - to retrieve the two rings and return them to the federal government. The trio of fashion-conscious, ass-kicking Angels will have to mechanically bull-ride, helicopter-fly, surf, motor-cross, and blow up a few buildings to unravel this who, what, why and how mystery.

Assisting the Angels on this assignment (and hopefully all future assignments) is Jimmy Bosley (Bernie Mac), John Bosley's brother (Bill Murray). [If you're wondering if papa Bosley was a rolling stone, John and Jimmy's sibling connection is easily explained in the movie]. Showing up unannounced for a quick family visit is Alex's father (John Cleese), and reprising their roles as two of the Angels' love interests are Pete (Luke Wilson) and Jason (Matt LeBlanc).

The person behind all this drama is a Fallen Angel, and now the new Queen of Evil, Madison Lee (Demi Moore). Also pinch-hitting for the Team of Evil is Seamus O'Grady (Justin Theroux), Dylan's ex-boyfriend whom she'd like to remain a part of the past. The Thin Man (Crispin Glover) shows up on the scene, but it looks like his evil days are over.

Will the Angels teach Madison the Eleventh Commandment? If thou causes too much drama on the set and cannot get along with any of the Angels, thou shall die in this sequel and thou role will not be reprised in any future Charlie's Angels III.

DA 411
I'm not going to rehash the obvious, so I'll make this quick. Bernie Mac's perfunctory performance was funny enough, and Drew, Cameron, and Lucy looked like they really had fun making Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. Look for a few celebrity cameos, including a former Angel, Jaclyn Smith, from the 1970's television show.

If you want to see a movie with an original plot and serious acting, then go see John Malcovich's The Dancer Upstairs. But, if you want to be entertained by three stylish and pretty actresses for 105 minutes with unbelievably over-da-top action sequences and special effect stunts, and laugh at their comedic parodies, then you'll enjoy Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.

CASS' CONCLUSION
On page 199 of our book, 3 Black Chicks Review Flicks: A Film and Video Guide with Flava!, The Diva said of the first Charlie's Angels, "I loved Charlie's Angels." Well, she shouldn't be disappointed this time around either because Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. is an action-packed movie wrapped around light-hearted entertainment.
