Things seem to be going well until a s mysterious person in black take a vial that was being worked on and throws it on the ground. It causes the computer to shut The Hive down and kill everyone inside.
Meanwhile an elite security force employed by the corporation has been sent to find out what happened and to shut the computer down. What they don't know is that the computer shut it down to contain the virus and will stop at nothing to make sure that the virus does escape. The virus mutates the human body and spreads very fast. The 800,000 residents of Raccoon City and the rest of the world are in grave danger if the virus escapes. Can the security force out smart the computer and the virus and make it back up to the surface?
The Dish
This movie is a little difficult to talk about without ruining for you. The plot is so thin that even describing what a person does, reveals various plot points. The one spoiler I will give you, though is the fact that the Brotha Rule is in full effect. Sorry. I know this tells you exactly who dies and about when, but it just never ceases to amaze me and I feel compelled to point it out whenever it happens. There was nothing stellar about the performances and the special effects were okay - okay and annoyingly recycled/stolen. The story line was nothing new either. Big bad computer and corporation take over the world and run it into the ground type of story. The concept is old too: a movie based on a video game.
I can say that it was scary - really scary at first, then it just became ho-hum. This is one of those movies that isn't good or bad, it was just mindless entertainment, but it is not for the faint of heart. There were a lot of moments when I jumped and a few times that I wanted to scream, but I wouldn't call it evil.
The Directive
Pretty scary as scary movies go. It's also pretty gross. Keep that in mind.
Quasi-evil - to quote Dr. Evil
